CMA's are responsible for providing assistance to the nursing staff.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Takes client medical histories, performs and records vital signs and prepares clients for examination.
Assists with completing Nursing portion of admission process.
Completes patient assessments and notes.
Documents and updates Multidisciplinary Records.
Inputs client related information into medical record systems.
Transfers clients to Emergency room when appropriate.
Operates Pyxis machine based on appropriate protocol.
Assists with laboratory services and facilities routine tests as directed by MD and/or Nurse Practioners.
Maintains clean and properly stocked examination rooms and equipment.
Assists with ordering client specific and stock medication and updating inventory.
Writes, transcribes and reviews orders for non-controlled medications.
Administers non-controlled medications.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS Medical Assistant Certification Minimum of one (1) year of experience acquired through a combination of education or practical work experience.
Work experience in a mental health or substance abuse/recovery environment or with a 12 step program is preferred.
CPR/First Aid Certification is required for this position.
If not CPR/First Aid certified at time of hire, certification must be obtained within the state mandated time frame after first day of employment.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
