Inspection Sales Representative

Job Responsibilities and requirements include but are not limited to:
This position requires the ability to sell and promote PMA inspection contracts and price deficiencies services.
This includes alarm, sprinkler, extinguisher, emergency exit lights, clean agent suppression systems, monitoring and backflows.
Responsibilities include selling our products and services to new and existing customers, generating new business, cold calling, presenting and demonstrating our products and services while working with the service department to ensure customer satisfaction.
In addition, the ISR will be responsible to coordinate owners turn over meetings with the construction department on newly completed projects to capture three year and optional reoccurring inspection agreements.
Knowledge:
A high school diploma or equivalent (G.
E.
D.
) Sales experience is preferred Knowledge with NFPA 13 Fire Protection codes and NFPA 25 Proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook Must be detailed-oriented.
Work
Experience:
Minimum of two years relevant sales experience to include, alarm, sprinkler extinguishers, backflows, monitoring and clean agent systems.
Industry exposure to alarm, sprinkler, extinguisher, emergency exit lights, clean agent suppression systems, monitoring and backflows.
Proven ability and track record of performing work in a timely manner and meeting deadlines Skills and Competencies:
Ability to generate sales of new Inspection Agreements and other services using identifying, prospecting, qualifying and other sales techniques.
Pursue potential clients through existing customer data bases Prepare written quotes and contracts for inspection services Follow-up with customers in a timely manner to ensure sale is captured Assist the customer over the phone in emergency situations Flexibility with schedule changes or a daily basis Valid drivers license and excellent driving record Must be disciplined and self-motivated to work with limited supervision Excellent communicator and have great organizational skills with a positive attitude Passionate attitude while making multiple cold calls and more Attends service meeting as required Follow established Allied Fire Protection SOP Other duties as assigned Physical Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
