As a Counselor, you play a direct role in saving the lives of our patients each day by providing counseling services to your assigned clients, including individual, family, / group therapy sessions, and promoting an environment of long-term recovery.
You will partner with the Clinical Director and Director of Operations to establish and maintain a therapeutic environment and routine for our residents.
Duties:
The duties of the position are as follows:
Assesses client needs and develops individualized treatment plans for clients.
Provides counseling services to assigned clients including individual, group, family / community therapy sessions.
Maintains all client records including but not limited to daily documentation, weekly assessments, and monthly progress reports.
Assists in developing and maintaining program/practice policies and procedures.
Provides assistance in developing departmental policies and procedures.
Participates in program/practice planning and evaluation activities.
Provides assistance to the Director in developing/assessing departmental policies and procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
