This is an independent-contractor position starting at $20/hr which is paid weekly either by check or Venmo.
Candidates must be able to work independently and will be responsible for checking your own schedule.
You will be required to submit inventory and supply order requests weekly, and will need to keep the office/storage room clean and organized.
Laundry is included as well as stain removal treatments on linens as needed.
We are looking for a LEADER who can work with our current staff.
This position will average 10-25 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general housekeeping duties, including cleaning and organizing rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.
- Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures.
- Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Changing bed linens and making beds.
- Replenishing supplies such as toiletries and towels.
- Emptying trash cans and disposing of waste, also putting trash cans on the curb to be picked-up weekly and bringing them back into our trash area.
- Cleaning windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces - Maintaining cleanliness in high traffic areas including the pool, hot tub, gazebo and all outdoor common areas.
- Ability to check your own schedule online through our reservation system and complete the work needed as well as filling in your work hours in an online timesheet.
!! Must have reliable transportation and the ability to work on weekends as well as weekdays and holidays when needed.
You will also need to be able to text with the Hotel Manager who works from home !!
Experience:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial work is required - Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment is required - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various areas of the facility.
This position requires attention to detail, the ability to follow instructions, and the willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
